Valleyview is located along the main Tapah-Tanah Rata road, between the towns of Ringlet (6 km) and Tanah Rata (7km). There are two roads up to Cameron Highlands, the new Simpang Pulai road and the old Tapah road. Most people find the Tapah road a little windy. However, for people from the south, (KL, Singapore etc) it is a much shorter drive especially to the bungalow, and it takes about 1 to 1 1/2 hours normally.
It is also more scenic with waterfalls and Orang Asli villages along the way. A good suggestion is to stop for a few minutes at the Lata Iskandar waterfall to give the passengers, especially little children a break

Traffic

During weekends and holidays, the traffic in Cameron Highlands is quite heavy. It mainly affects the road from Tanah Rata to Brinchang and the road onward to Simpang Pulai. The road up from Tapah to the bungalow is much less affected by peak season traffic. During peak seasons, the roads to Ringlet and to Tanah Rata from the bungalow are not so jammed. There are restaurants, provision shops, convenience stores, mini marts, wet markets, Mr DIY, Seven 11 etc in these 2 towns.

Dog Friendly

We accept and welcome dogs that are house trained. Dogs love the cool climate and fresh air. There is ample space in the garden for them to run around. There are no neighbours nearby to worry about. Dog lovers can have a peaceful holiday and spend quality time with their pets here. No worries about leaving them behind when you need a holiday.

The bungalow can be rented separately by floor

Off Peak

Upper floor 2 bedrooms RM 500 per night. Lower Floor 3 bedrooms RM 600 per night

Whole Bungalow 5 Bedrooms Mon to Thurs RM 900 per night. Fri to Sun RM 1000 per night

Peak seasons : Hari Raya, CNY, Christmas Deepavali RM 1200 per night

Occupancy

Normal occupancy is 10 adults for the whole bungalow. We can provide up to 4 extra single beds at RM50 per bed per night. So maximum occupancy is 14 adults

Check in time is 2 pm. Check out time is 12 pm.

Facilities

Each floor is self-contained with kitchen, (fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, gas cooker, rice cooker, toaster, refrigerator, microwave oven, dish washing detergent and steamboat cooking facilities).
Each floor has a dining area and a lounge with TV .
There are two mahjong tables with mahjong tiles available.
Every bedroom has a bathroom attached with hot/cold showers, liquid soap/shampoo dispensers and hand and bath towels.
There is one queen-size double bed per bedroom.
There is hot/cold water for all kitchen and hand basin use.

BBQ & Steamboat (Self Catering)

There is a large2-grill barbeque pit on the lawn in front of the house with floodlights for use after dark. We charge a sum of RM50 for use of the pit. This is to cover costs of materials (charcoal, fire starters, utensils, tables and chairs).

Steamboat cooking facilities, utensils, cutlery and crockery are available. We charge RM10 per steamboat cooker and gas.

We also provide canopy cover in case of rain.

Clearing and washing up of dishes, cutlery and crockery after the BBQ and steamboat is the responsibility of guests if self catering

For BBQ and steamboat on the lawn you have to finish by 12 midnight.

BBQ & Steamboat (Catering)

We can provide catered meals with advanced notice. We can cater for BBQ and steamboat dinners for a minimum of 10 adults with advance notice of at least 1 week. Charges will be per head adult/child (BBQ RM 60/30, Steamboat RM 40/20) subject to requested menu and will include food preparation, cooking and serving and clearing up after the meal. We can send you the menus on request.
